This is truly a one of a kind. The difference between this and all the other coffee shops around is the personality of the place and drinks. This is really a great little hidden gem!!!

I am so grateful to the staff at Cafe Grun! I didn’t know they only accepted cash and I only had my card w me. I only had enough cash for one drink, so I canceled my first order, but they were kind enough to accept the cash I had and still let me enjoy both drinks. The matcha coconut and matcha with coffee were absolutely delicious, and the warm, friendly staff made the experience even better. Thank you for the hospitality and for going above and beyond!

I visited here three times during my one week stay in Bangkok. Every time it was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and the coffee is great. Pastries and other sweets also available. Small, comfortable space to sit inside and some benches outside.

We visited Grun Cafe unintentionally as it was just across from our hotel but I think we were just lucky as it is a true gem. The staff were very courteous, the prices are very reasonable and the coffees were super fresh and superb. 7 days later and after more than 10 cups including cold and hot, it became clear this is a fantastic find. We will be there again in our next visit.

The staffs are very friendly and nice. I love the oat strawberry matcha latte and the butterfly cinnamon (highly recommended).

First Time Trying Yuzu Matcha Cold in Bangkok – A Delightful Surprise I just tried Yuzu Matcha Cold for the first time, and wow, what a unique combination! The matcha brings that familiar, earthy depth, but then the yuzu kicks in with this unexpected burst of citrus that brightens everything up. It's like the perfect balance of sweet, tart, and bitter. The cold drink is super refreshing, especially on a warm day. The matcha itself isn’t too overpowering, and the yuzu adds a zesty freshness that keeps things interesting. At first, I wasn’t sure how the flavors would mesh, but they complement each other way better than I expected.

Lovely little cafe with great coffee. There are alternative milk options so I was able to enjoy a delicious oat milk latte. I didn’t try the food but there are delicious looking baked goods inside. Edit: I used to stop for a coffee with my little dog (outside), but I’ve seen they’ve since banned dogs - this is disappointing and I hope they decide to change their policy!
